Jason has spent his entire adult life working to produce programming for television and film. He is a nine-time Emmy® Award winning senior producer and writer of the regionally syndicated television program Texas Country Reporter and began working on that program in 1978. Jason also spent several years producing news. In addition to being a
producer on the floor of the GOP convention in 1984, Jason was named producer of the10:00 pm news at KDFW-TV in Dallas at the age of twenty-two. In all, it is estimated that Jason has written, produced and edited more than 25,000 hours of television in his career.

In 2013, Jason retired from his full-time job as Vice President of Phillips MediaSource Inc., to purchase and operate his photography studio — Pendleton Photography. While he is retired from full-time television production, Jason continues to produce programming on a free-lance basis including national television programming on the RFDTV
network. Jason has also recently written and directed a national television campaign for Solis Mammography centers.

Jason has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Master’s degree in Human Behavior and Development.

He is currently the President of the Board of Governors of the Lone Star Emmy® Awards and is a past National Trustee to the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

He is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, The Texas Professional Photographers Association, and the Southwest Professional Photographers Association.

Jason lives in Arlington, Texas, is married and has two young children who keep him young and give him gray hair at the same time.
