Richards is an independent producer and affiliate faculty at Metropolitan State University of Denver’s department of Journalism & Media Production.  As a producer, she focuses on lifestyle and educational programming.  She has created content and developed programs for a number of companies, including The Teaching Company, Denver Media Center, Thomson Higher Learning, Hearst New Media, and  Philips, N.V
