Non-Voting, Ex-Officio Member, Head of Finance & Administration
Désirée Jean-Jérome grew up in Upstate, NY near the catskills region where she attended Our Lady of Lourdes High School. She went on to graduate from “The” Ohio State University and found herself temping as a sales analyst with MTV Networks in their Nickelodeon department within a newly created division for reporting International royalties and participations. She quickly realized that with her personality, skillset and love for all things content-related that she would spend the rest of her career in television. Jean-Jérome went on to manage EMEA, LATAM and Asia markets for Viacom’s finance departments before moving on to iHeartMedia, Interactive One, a black-owned sister agency to TV One, and finally Disney/ABC before returning to Viacom-Paramont’s Content Distribution division at the beginning of the cord-cutting and OTT carriage packages which resulted in several conglomerate mergers.
Today, Jean-Jérome has found a home with The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences where she sits as the Head of Finance and Administration. She enjoys working on DIY projects at her home in Brooklyn and is a self proclaimed cinephile and content junkie.
