Janice Selinger, Vice-Chair

Janice Selinger is the Executive Director of Crossroads of the American Revolution National Heritage Area, the non-profit organization established by Congress to enhance and promote New Jersey’s Revolutionary War legacy. Crossroads has been designated the private partner working with the NJ Historical Commission on the
250th of the American Revolution in 2026.

Selinger is a 14 -time Emmy award winning producer of documentaries and specials. She has served as Executive Producer and Producer for a number of documentaries that have aired nationally on PBS. Selinger is a freelance producer and served as Senior Producer of Governors’ Perspectives with Kent Manahan, a monthly feature for On the Record with Michael Aron on NJTV. Public Television.

Selinger worked at NJN Public Television for many years where she served as the Acting Executive Director of NJN Public Television and Radio, Acting President of the NJN Foundation, Acting Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Executive Director for Programming and Production. Prior to working at NJN, Selinger worked at WCBS-TV on Channel 2 Eye On and On Your Side with John Stossel.

Selinger has also served as Secretary and Second Vice Chairman of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Selinger serves on the NATAS Scholarship Committee that recognizes promising young people interested in careers in broadcasting. Selinger is an adjunct professor at The College of New Jersey. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and has a B.A. in Journalism from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Rutgers, Newark.
