The 45th Annual Sports Emmy Awards were held on May 21, 2024, at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall, in front of a sold-out audience of sports television professionals.

Highlights
James Brown, a three-time Emmy® Award-winning sports broadcaster, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Brown is best known as the host of pregame shows, including:
– CBS Sports’ THE NFL TODAY
– NFL ON FOX
– INSIDE THE NFL
He has hosted the Super Bowl a record-setting 11 times and has also served as a special correspondent for CBS News programs such as 60 MINUTES and CBS EVENING NEWS.
