Please see below for a ROUGH ESTIMATE calendar of dates related to the post-nominations and ceremony production process. Prior to each of the below tasks, SUBMITTERS will receive an email with explicit instructions on how to supply the information we need. This information is communicated to the submitter of the entry, not to each individual nominee (unless otherwise noted).

Gratis Credits Window – CLOSED
From now through EOD July 21, Orthicon has been re-opened ONLY for the gratis credits window. During this window, you should be making sure your credits are all there, spelled correctly, and their titles are correct. If you erroneously forgot any individuals, now is the time to add them in Orthicon for free. 

Starting July 22 through the ceremony date, requested changes are $250 PER CHANGE, so use this time to make sure your credits are accurate as they flow directly to the nominee press release, digital program, and product ordering system. 

Additionally, all individual credits must have a unique email, as required by our product vendor. Now is the time to add these individual addresses if you didn’t during the submission period.

Ceremony Clip Updates **FOR CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS ONLY – CLOSED
IF you have a Master Agreement inclusive of Clip Swap Clause OR NATAS emails you identifying an issue with your originally chosen Ceremony Clip, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative Ceremony Clip through July 26.

Program/Network/Platform/Name Updates – CLOSED

Please review the full nominee list here. Pay close attention to: program name, network, production companies, and (in performance categories) performer name and character name. If there are any corrections, please email them directly to Rachel at rschwartz@theemmys.tv. Do NOT make these corrections in Orthicon as these are immediately impactful to press release.

Credits Verification Fast-Tracking – CLOSED

If you are a nominee in a SERIES category (automatically categories 1-5 and then if you are a Series and NOT a Special and you’re nominated in categories 6-10 and/or 12), as part of the credits verification process you were required to submit BOTH a credits roll or a call sheet AND a letter from the EP. The reason is that  each of the individuals listed is required to have worked a minimum of 19% of episodes for eligibility and we need verification of that. This letter should list each individual’s name and title and a statement that the EP is attesting that they all qualify for the minimum of 19% required for Emmy eligibility. It should be signed.

When you are in Orthicon reviewing your credits, check your credits verification document. If you have a credits roll or call sheet AND a letter from an EP together, you are all set. If you have only uploaded one or the other. please submit the documentation into THIS FOLDER. Please label in the following format: Category Number_Program Name. This is ONLY required for 19% categories (categories 1-5 and then categories 6-10 and 12 IF you are a Series). All other categories are either personality or episode-based and do not require this level of documentation.

Pronunciations for VOG Pre-Record – DELAYED
If requested, NATAS will be collecting pronunciations for any names, titles, and producing entities that will be voiced in our pre-recorded nominee packages.

Credits Verification Process – August 17-August 21
During this window, credit proofs will be sent to all submitters on a rolling basis. Administration may require additional proof for credits to be verified. The final tentative due date is August 21.

Preliminary Ticketing Info – week of August 17 (*NEW)

Fill out this GOOGLE FORM to request tickets. Policy, pricing, and perks are included in the form. PLEASE VERIFY WITH YOUR SHOW CONTACT WHO IS COVERING TICKETS. This form should be filled out by the individual responsible for purchasing the tickets. All requests will be responded to on September 8th when purchase codes are individually sent in anticipation of on-sale on September 9th.

Press Release Re-Release with Names – August 28
The initial nominee release on July 14 with no include individual names (except in performer categories) as the credits verification process is underway. This press release will include all individual names, and those individuals are officially considered to be Emmy nominees.

Tickets On Sale – September 9
We anticipate tickets to go on sale on September 9. At this time, we do not have any additional confirmed information about tickets.

Acceptor Form – September 9
A form will be set up to collect the name, title, and pronunciation of the Acceptor for each nomination. The Acceptor is individual who will be making the speech on stage in the event of a win. We only allow credited individuals within that nomination to accept, and it’s limited to a single speaker. While we are not collecting this information until after Labor Day, once nominations are announced, you can start discussing internally who this should be so you are prepared.

Gratis Statuette Form – September 9
One winner PER CATEGORY will receive a gratis (free/complimentary) statuette onsite at the ceremony. A form will be set up to collect the band engraving information for that chosen individual. It does NOT need to be the same as the Acceptor, but it can be if you wish. All other winning individuals will be able to order their statuettes. While we are not collecting this information until after Labor Day, once nominations are announced, you can start discussing internally who this should be so you are prepared.

Daytime Emmys Ceremony – October 30 (Hollywood, CA)
All categories will be announced in a single ceremony. There will be a red carpet and pre-reception. There is no official after-party. More details will be announced in a few weeks.

Product / Statuette Ordering – October 30 and beyond (*NEW)

Recipients of the Gratis Statuette (above) will receive their statuette at the ceremony. Other winners can place their orders backstage. Beyond that, ordering for statuettes and other winner and nominee products will launch within a week after the ceremony. INDIVIDIUAL NOMINEES/WINNERS will receive information about ordering. This is the only piece of information that does not go directly to submitters only. We will have more information on product ordering prior to the ceremony.
