National Student Production Awards

The National Student Production Awards recognize outstanding achievement in video production. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences promotes excellence by showcasing work created by high school students in news, craft and programming categories.

The 2021 National Student Production Awards was streamed live Tuesday, November 23, 2021 and is viewable on the web at watch.theemmys.tv or using your The Emmys App on your smartphone, tablets or Smart TVs. The show was virtual and students were asked to participate online and through social media using the hashtag #NATASSPA.

Regional Student Awards

NATAS Student Awards encourages the pursuit of excellence in video production and focuses public attention on outstanding achievements produced by students. Student Awards for excellence are awarded by the Regional Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. 

The awards are intended to be an incentive for the pursuit of excellence in television journalism and focus public attention on outstanding achievements in television produced by college  and or high school students.

Entries are judged by the Regional Chapter’s broadcast professionals . One Plaque or Pillar will be awarded in each category. Certificates will be awarded to all individuals named on the entry.
